Award winning research

To develop the Performability Concept and Scan, we studied and followed
more than 160 production and service teams at Volvo Trucks in Sweden
during a six-year period. In addition, another 30 production and service
teams in Dutch companies were also included into the research.

The developed concept and accompanying instruments were tested and
used extensively at Volvo Trucks Umeå in Sweden. About 2400 people
work there in production, logistics, engineering and several supporting
departments. In this ultramodern plant they have already worked for
several years on the durable development of leadership and teamwork
based on this concept. The development program involves more than 80
team managers, department managers and members of the MT.
